As my fashion course progressed, the other male students specialised in footwear or sportswear. For whatever reason, I produced my best work with ladies’ fashion.
In my final year, I turned twenty-two, and spent less time socialising and more time producing my best designs. Both of my flatmates were supportive. It was important that Imogen liked what I did, because she was in my group, and understood the subject. I was astounded, but grateful when our other flatmate, Finlay, said he liked my creations.
In our final few weeks together we became much closer than flatmates.
